Greg Bennett - Composer Arranger Musician

For most of my life I have been involved with music as a player, composer or arranger. I began studying violin at age 8, at 10 began guitar and piano studies. I played with various bands through high school and spent time living and performing in and around  Mendocino, California and the Midwest including 3 years as Musical Director for The Daniel Anthony Show Band.

After receiving a degree in Composition and Arranging as well as a Professional Certificate in Film and Game Composition from Berklee School of Music, I continued to private studies in Orchestration at The American Conservatory in Chicago. I also spent a year studying arranging under Bill Russo (Chicago Jazz Ensemble) at Columbia College.

I have composed music for orchestra, chamber ensembles, choral groups and percussion, as well as small and large jazz ensembles. Most recently I have been playing with and arranging for the Harper College Concert Jazz Band and scoring several short film projects.
